I make every effort to ensure that your time in the Netherlands is both inspiring and safe. Below you will find the terms governing bookings, payments, and liability in connection with the walking tours organised by Orange Coot.

1. Booking & Payment

• Inquiries: You can book standard or custom-made tours via the contact form on this website or directly via email.
• Confirmation: Once the date and itinerary are settled, you will receive an email confirmation along with payment details.
• Payment: The booking becomes binding once payment has been received.
• Pricing: Rates for standard walks are listed on their respective pages. Bespoke itineraries, special interest tracks, and agency tours are priced individually upon agreement.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• I understand that travel plans can change. If you need to cancel or modify your booking, please notify me via email or phone as early as possible.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled tour start time may not be eligible for a refund.
• In exceptional and unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather alerts, sudden emergencies), I reserve the right to cancel the tour. In such rare events, you will receive a full 100% refund, or we will rearrange the tour for a mutually convenient date.

3. Liability & Safety

• Local Rules & Environment: Participants are responsible for exercising reasonable care during the tour and for following local laws, traffic regulations and any safety instructions provided by the guide. We treat the historic cities and their residents with mutual respect.
• Liability: Orange Coot shall not be liable for injuries, accidents or loss of personal belongings unless such damage results from intent or negligence on the part of Orange Coot, where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
• Minors: Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or a legal adult guardian at all times, who remains fully responsible for their safety and conduct.
